journalism
Just because an editorial is published in a newspaper doesn't mean its just as important as a blogging. The purpose of writing an article or even blogging is just to get your point across on the topic. By getting your points across in a newspaper, magazine, or even blogging is an effort for everyone to see your opinion. Getting published in the newspapers or even magazines you are restricted on what you say and also getting critiqued. Blogging is a whole different approach to the journalism side, you can post what ever you want to say and not have restrictions. Also blogging you don't have someone else that is editing their writings Frank Partsch says that doing newspapers and magazines you don't get your personal option across so eery one knows what you really feel. When journalism is getting restrictions on it then the freedom of speech is put on a holt. Blogging is where you put your personal touch on it and say what you are feeling on the subject and people can also reply to your blog to give their opinion on your opinion.

Journalism does have some restrictions, but I do not know if I would go as far as saying it puts a halt on freedom of speech. These people are paid professional who are doing a write up for a specific firm; no one is forcing them to do this. Yes, there are big differences between blogs and journalism, but they serve different purposes. Journalism is typically a researched write up, and blog are a lot of the time emotional responses.
ReplyDeleteJournalism plays an important role to the modern society, it is a freedom of speech. Most of them write for the real fact.
